the National road. Frequent buses from Hania. |

Busy with tourists who are mainly on package
tours. Lacking in Cretan atmosphere. The road passing through
the village is busy. The old part of Agia Marina on the hill
still retains some charm. |

Plenty of nightlife and even more in Platanias
which is only a few minutes walk away. |

a number of beach bars and small tavernas. |

Agia Marina is a good place if you don't mind
being in a busy tourist resort, want a good beach and easy
access to other places on the north coast. |
